Default Who Owns a Hot Rod

    Hello Again:

Now that I know there are some NHRA fans on the forum let's hear about your Hot Rods. I currently own a 1964 Chevy II SS (Nova) I am running a small block 327cid with a mild Crane Cam, Edelbrock Intake and 650cfm Carb with Headman Headers and Flowmaster exhaust system. I Put the power to the ground thru a Turbo400 transmission with B&M shift kit with a 3000rpm stall Summit Converter and a 12 bolt chevy rear differential. I have also added front disc power brakes and 14"x7" original Ralley Rims and Center Caps on 215/60/14 BFGoodrich T/A tires. I have owned this car since 1989 and have completely redone the paint & interior in that time including all plastic & rubber items. This is not a race car but it is a nice cruiser that can get up & go when called on and is very dependable

I had a '66 Chevelle when I was younger. I LOVED that car, it killed me to get rid of it. It needed engine work and I had no place to keep it at the time. God only knows where the pictures of it are? They probably ended up w/my ex-wife and are looooong gone now.

Hey Mark..... that is a great pic of the bike bro!!!

Hey Donnie, that sounds like a great setup!

My dad's last rod was a 69 Nova with a blown 350 crammed in it - similar in other areas as yours. Had to have the stringers welded in to keep the body from bending. Couldn't get the power to the pavement with street tires - I tried. Just created a big cloud. But, with the slicks it was a little devil.

My neighbor has a beautiful custom, kit-built Cobra with 350 and that car is scary fast. Possibly the fastest car I've been in. Me likey!
