Alright Chicago. We got great weather. Saturday night we get a KILLER night with The boys and the greatest manager out there. Whose gonna be there tonight???
Fantastic show. As always. Boys played their hearts out. Crowd was loud. We got two and half hours of face slamming muskc. Then a fantastic hang out and meet and greet. Thanks once again for a great night!!!!
A TRIUMPHANT show, no doubt! I've been at every Tailgater's show since Y & T have been playing there and this was by far the most populated and the most fiery. Everyone was at the top of their game and the crowd was extremely enthusiastic.
Also, it was a Mean Streak fan's dream; title track, "Midnight In Tokyo", "Straight Thru The Heart" and "Hang "Em High".

Funny, when they played hang em high. You can see mike grinning. That new kit sounded amazing, he seemed to be playing a little harder on that tune especially. Personally I thought daves guitar was buried in the first 6 songs.
I guess it depends where one was standing. I was way by the merch booth, so it sounded good to me. Plus, even though they do a soundcheck prior, tweaking is always needed thru the beginning of a set.
I also thought it was very classy of the club owner to come on stage and thank the band and everyone for coming. You don't see them coming to their establishments let alone get on the mike and giving their thanks.
I would like to see the band play a bigger place for their sake, but after witnessing that I feel Tailgater's is their Chicago area home away from home.
I had hang em high stuck in my head on the way back to St Louis Sunday Awesome show! OH and also, the band has such high energy and you can tell they are having so much fun. I don't know how you all do it night after night. I am 46 and couldn't do what you all do Again......awesome show guys!
Peace, love and blessings
