    Default *His Name Is Earl

As promised, the continuing story of "Y & T in Maui".

The other representative at the show was none other than Earl (aka RUSHHEAD666) Ramer and his wife Wendy. I was a bit reticent to acknowledge him, but I am glad we both did.

Now some of you may remember a little....problem here on the Forum a few years ago. Sorry, if you are looking for regurgitated drama, you won't find it here as the posts have been deleted . I'm not here to do that. I am here to formally apologize to Earl for all that crap that was spewed back then. We are both highly passionate about music and the "punny" use of the English language. And, looking back, we actually agree on a lot of other things but never discussed. Things got heated for whatever reason(s) and it doesn't matter.

Earl is a standup guy and it should be stated here. While I did not come right out and full-on apologize for my end of it that night in Maui, I waited for a reason. It started out publicly so I thought it should be resolved in a like manner. He, controversially at times, brought life to this board. I would like to think we both did. There is no place for the kind of things we spat toward each other on this Forum that should have been posted. No other member needed to be subjected to viewing it either. And it serves no purpose to the band for which it stands to have distractions to weed through or endure.

We all have a RIGHT to say anything we want. However, there are times we simply should exercise a little restraint. That is something I should have done way back when.

Cheers Earl (and Wendy, nice to have met you ) !!

And to the rest of the Forum Family........Mahalo!

Earl had his moments, and I'm sure he's a hell of a nice guy in person, but he seemed to revel in stirring up drama. Most of us come here to keep up with the band. Can't say I miss him.
    I love my guitar.

I sold him a Jorn t-shirt. I should have Earls email somewhere. Thin Lizzy, do you have it?
