I really felt for Silva as I can't imagine the pain he was in... however, I thought Weidman had the fight well in hand before the break happened, and it was almost falling into the Silva/Sonnen 1 rhythm. He controlled Anderson on the ground, handled him on the feet, and was well in control. Anderson said he thought he would have won, but I'm not so sure. In any event, Silva will be back... but who knows if he'll ever mentally be able to throw a solid leg kick again?
Cutting 'em down to "sucker size" since 1996.
