Default Thanks for the memories Phil

I was lucky enough to have spent some time with Phil back at the Crest theatre some years ago. My mom was with me and we both felt very comfortable and relaxed speaking with him. He had a way of making you feel like you were the only one in the room. It is not very often that you meet someone in the business that can create that kind of a memory. Although our time sharing some great conversation was minimal, it's memory will last my lifetime. May you rest on peace Phil, you will not be forgotten.

Hi, Dave. I went to Kawasaki on both nights. Your play and vocal were so emotional and touching.. The band was really amazing too. Thank you for coming back to Japan.

This morning, I was remembering (maybe dreaming?) about Y&T's previous tour to Japan. On the final day in Kawasaki, Phil was in a gleeful mood and so playful. He let us have fun and laugh through the entire show. At the time of band introduction, he introduced you as "Dave Meni-Fxckin'-Ketti"! You looked happy with him too. he was so lovable man. Thanks for the memories. May he rest in peace..

Default My Heart goes out to the Kennemore Family

And to his extended Y&T family and friends, you will be missed Phil.
I started playing bass because of Phil, his stage presence and skill were
truly inspiring, as were the entire Y&T band. The music was amazing and
concerts were pure magic. My family has been hit by the tragedy of cancer
many time over the years and my thoughts and prayers go out to the
Kennemore & Y&T families as you endure this loss.

We love you Phil and hope that you are now in a better place without pain.

    Peace

    Default My thoughts

To Dave, How do I express my thoughts when I have just been crushed? How I love the band and cannot express my feelings at the loss of your partner and friend. I love the band and look to the future but will always find myself looking to the past. Been a fan since I was a young teen and have loved the music over the years. I was blown away when Facemelter came out, what an incredible album. Just babling, I am empty.

    Default Rest In Peace

I have been away for a while and just got the news. My prayers go out to his family. I am proud to say that i have been to over 20 Y&T gigs and they just kept getting better. Phil always looked like he was having a great time...so much energy. I had a short conversation with him once in Ventura, outside the house. A very pleasant guy. Phil...you will be missed !

    Thank you for the music..........

    Default Sad In Billings, MT

My wife surprised me this morning with the Facemelter cd for my 1 year sobriety birthday. I'm a lifelong fan, originally from Modesto, CA now living in Billings, MT. I've seen you in Turlock, San Fransisco, Marriots Great America, etc. I was a professional boxer and even walked out to the ring to one of your songs - "Let It Out" in 1992.
Your music was a huge part of my growing up and I just wanted Y&T to know that there's a very sad fan in Billings, MT today!

Rest in Peace our brother. As with many here, Phil has been a part of our lives for many , many years and will be sorely missed. No words can describe the pain.
