I just want to let you all to know that Wendy had the time of our lives on Saturday. (shit and Sunday morning too. LOL!)

We walked into the casino checked in and I was instantly attracted to this very hot slut machine. I mean slot machine.

It was a dollar Wheel Of Fortune. I dropped a C note into the system and within two pulls I hit a spin. I kissed Wendy on the lips and hit that button and won 200 bones.

Two pulls later I hit another spin. Kissed my woman on those ruby red lips and hit 75 bones.

Remember, you always have to play off your spin. Never walk away from machine with the spin still showing on the line.

Anyway I decided to play it smart and take the money and run.

Nice to be up $275 within minutes.

Well thanks to the way this wild night turned out, that was the only gambling I did in Ca$h Creek. (that's for Mentally Yours)

Wendy and I got in line after an early dinner at C2 which is actually called C SQUARED.

We headed into the short line for the show around 6:30.

The Eagle and Carla were behind us so we chatted with them for a bit. They brought a card and a cake for the band. That was very cool.

Anyway long story short. The concert was frigging awesome. We moved up to the front on Nymann's side and had a ball.

The sound was ok to my ears but what I really liked about Club 88 was the stage lighting. Does anyone else on here who went think the same thing? It was very vibrant and bright. The color of Mike's drums along with the guitars were popping out like a Technicolor Blu-Ray remaster of "SOUTH PACIFIC." Ever see that Musical? Now that's reaching.

Anyway, I really liked the set list for such a short show even I had a hard time getting through "LUCY." YUCK! :p

Actually the guys went a half hour longer. They played till 10 pm instead of 9:30. Awesome.

I really enjoyed "WILD IF I WANNA." Excellent live song.

I also must confess that even though I have ripped DOWN FOR THE COUNT many times on here, I loved "YOU'RE IN TROUBLE" live. When the guys kicked into the tune I was like lost for a second.

I'm like "what the fuck? Is this a new Y&T song? Then the chorus kicked in and it all came back to me. I actually have the Japanese SHM remaster of DFTC playing right now. It sounds great for an album of mediocrity. :lmao:
Did I say MEDIOCRITY? I meant MELODIC. LOL

This album does have some very good moments. Just ditch the lame BLACK Y&T LOGO on the cover and the keyboards.

The highlight of the "Summertime Girls" for me was John. Excellent guitar work in the intro. Effortless. JMO

Can you say UNDERRATED GUITAR PLAYER? :party06:

I know I made fun of Phil for being "slap happy" during the "Philmore" show but Saturday night Phil kicked some serious ass. I was very impressed. I guess being in the front row for a Y&T show and having Phil play his bass over your head with his crotch in your face could actually be interpreted a some serious cock rock fascination. Phil was on his mark that night.

Vanderhule was excellent too. As usual his double bass work was outstanding. Heavy shit. His feet have always impressed me. Ever since seeing Aja Vu' in Concord.

Mike you must get some wind chimes for "WINDS OF CHANGE!"

That would be sweet!!

Anyway then there was Dave.........

What can I say? So fill in the blank.............

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ !!!!! (two words)

Well speaking of "slap happy" I must thank Dave for "slapping" me during the "slap your face" lyrics in "BARROOM BOOGIE." I deserved it......:thanx_1:

That is a memory I will take to my grave. CLASSIC!!

The after party was fantastic. Hi Chris! Mr. Guitar Tech. Nice to finally hang out with you.

I've eaten a lot of crow on this forum for being a Penishead666. Ironically I think it's been worth it.:ylsuper:

I loved talking about A's baseball with you Phil. Cheers Dr. Diet Pepper Jack. :stupid_1:

I love you all.

Oh and Wendy loves you too Phil.......:lmao:

Those toes and that nose are mine though. HAHAHAHAHA!!

Jesus, timing is everything. "Summertime Girls" just kicked in on my stereo. I better get off off of my chair and hit "skip."

CHEERS TO Y&T!

I WILL LOVE THIS BAND "FOREVER!"

(no matter what I might type, just don't believe the hype)

Save the brown nosing comments.

Everyone has shit on their nose. :kater2:

Love,

Earl and Wendy Ramer

PS: Oh yeah and I'm a fuckin' PUSSYFOOT too. I was so hung over I fell asleep while taking a nap for CHICKENFOOT and I missed the damn show.

Sorry I missed you Chipper and Vanderhule! I'm a wimpy drinker after all.

PSS: I think "Hands Of Time" is another incredible song.

This is really strange.

That Chickenfoot show sold out in 8 minutes so I bought my ticket for $275 on eBay a few weeks ago.

I won $275 at Cache Creek and stopped gambling.

That is weird.

Chickenfoot will be back. That Cache Creek experience was priceless.

HAHAHA!

Shit did I quote the RATT song again? "You're In Trouble?" Must be one serious Freudian Slip. LOL!

Fuck! Nice call.

I've got RATT on the brain while I type about Y&T.

Go figure!

Classic!

Good seeing you too.

To quote the great black and white "TITANIC" movie. Cache Creek was "A NIGHT TO REMEMBER."

Sincerely,

Earl? Did Dave give you a kunckle head? (lol) or at least a bitch slap?

That's soooooooooo funny....

I remember at The Independent - I had a excessive beer night....(with you)

Phil was real nice with my stoopidity, but I did get the Meniketti "One eyebrow head lift" (laffz) after some stoopid comment I made.....and yea I was like "Chip" said "Putting toothpaste back in the tube" lol

Glad you guys had fun man...............Sandy and I were wishin' we were there, it was tough ridin' knowin' the party was at Cache Creek.

Cool post man,

Mark

It was all about Kat requesting it on this forum that got me thinking about that song (Wild If I Wanna). I kind of forgot about that and when she mentioned she would love to hear it at Cache Creek I had to tell the guys we should work it back into the set to try it out with Mike (see, we do read this forum). We did it at sound check and Mike nailed it. Killer tune that deserved to be back in the setlist. Hopefully a bit more often from here on out.

BTW, wasn't planning that slap in Barroom Boogie Earl, but you were there at the right moment and - well you know, it just worked out that way. Synchronicity, I suppose. One thing I was struggling to comprehend that night - Wendy sure is a cute girl - I have no idea what she sees in you Earl. :gig:

I can't tell you how happy it made me either, Dave! THANK YOU!!

Just hearing that little snippet here on the website, really made me want to hear the whole song! So, not only was it the first time I heard the song performed live, it was the first time I've heard the whole song! And I absolutely LOVE it!
It totally made my night! :)

I hope I get to here "Wild if I Wanna" someday soon....I'm glad you guys worked it in the setlist. :)

(Still surprises me that that song hasn't had major airplay to the day, IMO Y&T has a big hit right there with that song.)

Could be the lyrics to one of the new album tunes?

Sounds like I missed a good show anyway.
Sorry I missed seeing Earl get it , lol.

Actually I was struggling to comphrend everything that night. It all went by so damn quick.

Wendy is flattered by your comment and I'm still tattered from Cache Creek.

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me that about what Wendy sees in me I'd be very rich. At least I'm rich in love Dave. It's hard to find and I am a lucky fella.

She's got me "wrapped around her finger" even though you can't tell.:lovies3d:

I felt like Andre The Giant as I was walking around Cache Creek...the average height had to be only around 5'4 out in the casino and the place was jam-packed with gamblers ..cigerettes dangling from their mouths and the look and smell of desperation everywhere.

I really loved the venue, I thought that the sound and lighting in Club 88 was excellent. There wasn't a bad seat in the entire room and it was actually much louder and clearer toward the back. I watched ten feet back from the stage for the last hour of Y&T's two hour set. The place had to be near it's capacity?

Mike Vanderhule was rock solid all night long. John Nyman seemed to be playing so effortlessly it was beyond belief. Dave and Phil also brought their A-Games.

I really enjoyed the set list...a slowed down and with an alternate guitar solo version of "Dirty Girl", "The Medley"(I had to buy the "onetwo" CD) and "Looks Like Trouble" were all great surprises.

If Y&T could have played another 1/2 hour it would be hard to argue that this wasn't one of my favorite Y&T shows ever!

We left fifty dollars up...but spent it and another couple hundred at the outlet stores across from the Nut Tree in Vacaville on the way home Sunday.

I had a 24 hour hangover too, must have been that cheese & champagne you & Wendy brought over at 5 AM!!!! oh yeah...and the tequilla & jager shots in the party room. Ughh...never again! Stickin to my red red wine.....

Wendy is gorgeous! She told me that night that money and size means everything.
