Did anyone go to NAMM in Anaheim, CA? Rumor has it that Eddie VH might make a guest appearance at the Peavey booth...

NAMM is only for people associated with the music Biz.

I went wehn I was working at Pasha Records back in 1990. A VERY cool time.

I'd love to go again ! I was like a kid in a candy store !!

VB, thanks for the pix. I thought I'd seen your moniker before in the Jackson forum.

I have the same CSB SL2H Metal Mike Chlasciak is shredding on. She's a beauty!

Have you seen these pixs? http://www.brooksguitarworld.com/namm03.html

Yeah, EVH showed up, he was saying he doesn't want to be "involved" w/ a group that's not permanent, (but what is these days) ? Eddie said they are looking for vocalist #4..Steve Lukather also showed up for the Music Man, and Ovation booth..-G-.
(I didn't attend the "show", but I dropped off some equipment, and the guys on the Receiving dock told me that)..-G-.

I only have one comment:

Take my photo captions with a grain of salt ;)

I have heard some firsthand stories about Paul that do make me wonder though...

The things I heard about Eddie VH at the show...nothing positive. Mostly that he was drunk, stank, grunted, and was incoherent.

Yep, that's me on the Jackson forum as well.

Buckethead's real name is Brian Carrol. I've seen him without his mask at a comic book convention and my friend has met him backstage and talked to him.

there's a photo of him from high school at www.metal-sludge.com (http://www.metal-sludge.com)

it's in the "exposed" section.

(Cute fake pinky finger on the guitar to make it look like you can stretch 8 frets, buckethead.....)

Working as a cashier at Tower Records doesn't count.

Usually, you need to have a record deal, work for a Record Company, work for a Manufacturer, or work at a Professional Recording Studio. Sometimes Radio station personell, and Recording School Students get in, too.

They are pretty tough to get into if you aren't one of the above.
