Just wanted to start a "what if" thread here (Dave lit the flame, now this will probably start an inferno.) :gig:

What if these guys got together, did a record, and did a tour?

Would Meniketti show attendance be UP? Hmm.....

Meniketti shows were always a must for me. Old line up, new line up.....it's all good.

Jeff!

Are you kidding me?

I would try and bring this concept up as much as possible in random threads!

This would be amazing.

I will call Yoshi's tomorrow and book the gigs.

Sunday afternoons we can bring our kids!

I saw Chambers at Yoshi's with Mike Stern on guitar and Victor Wooten on bass.

I almost had a stroke watching these cats play.

I think that Meniketti, Dove, Chambers will be a reality.

If it takes money then I am willing to start a MDC FUND.

Hopefully the cd will get a Japanese pressing with a nice bonus track.

The beautiful thing about this three piece is that it wouldn't have to be an instrumental fusion masterpiece. Dave is a three tool musician.

He can write.
He can sing.
He can play. :guitarist

Now that would be a unique fusion, jazz, blues, rock masterpiece with vocals!

Where do I go to start a Street Team? :rocker2:

Don't get me wrong, I loved Tommy Grasso and Chris Miller -- but I think this trio could spell "M.A.G.I.C.!!!"

I'd like to see it... if only one time... :00000003:

I would be at EVERY local show!

Ironically, I ran into Dennis in the cafeteria at my work (Apple) on 12/21. He had just gotten breakfast and had a tray in his hands. I literally almost ran into him as I was passing the coffee bar. When I looked up and noticed it was him, my jaw dropped! I talked to him for a few seconds and we were both on our merry way.....that man is a legend!!!

How about naming the group MenDoCha? ;)

I'm there. Myron and Dave have an awesome chemistry and when they click it's really great music. I personally don't think they've even scratched the surface of what they're capable of. Go for it!

I totally agree with the GMan on this one!

Dave & Myron = Chemistry and improv to die for! :rocker2:

Dave and Myron play so incredibly well off of one another! Add Dennis to the mix and that trio would be capable of pulling just about anything off!

Dave (and Jill) just say the word and I am all over it!!! Jill, we could tag team Joey D and try to get a show this summer when Y&T does their Midwest stint :)

VENUES:
1. Chord on Blues in St. Charles (The owner lived in the Bay Area for a spell and knows Y&T)

2. Durty Nellies in Palatine (Y&T or MENIKETTI would fit perfectly)

3. The Clearwater in W. Dundee (Very easy to book this venue, without an agent)

4. City Limits...Arnie adores Jill!

Jill, you have my number!

I would love to hear this combo! I'm thinking fusion, but there's not too many singers in fusion music is there? Still, I've been wondering about this union since Dave posted that pic awhile back.

I just found out that Dennis Chambers was two doors down from my house a couple of weeks back visiting a drummer neighbor of mine!

And he didn't even come over to say HELLO. :(

Just found out Mr. Dove just played some dates with Steelheart back east...glad to see he's keeping busy and sorry to hear the shows never came out westward. I would've liked to have seen that.
But all in all, this trio would be friggin' awesome.
